Extremely low priced spring replacement offers often rely on cost cutting practices that homeowners may not realize are occurring. One common risk at unusually low rates is the installation of previously used or improperly rated springs that have been removed from other doors. These springs may have unknown cycle history, uneven wear or reduced lifespan.

Because used torsion springs cannot be reliably inspected for remaining fatigue life, their reuse places the door system and homeowner at risk of premature failure, property damage or personal injury.

For this reason I only install brand new correctly sized torsion springs sourced from verified suppliers. Springs are never reused and never mixed with unknown inventory.

If one torsion spring breaks it is strongly recommended to replace both springs at the same time so they wear evenly and last longer. Approximate repair time 1 - 3 hours.

Garage Door Cable Reset
$200 Labor Only

This service is for doors that become crooked or nonoperable when a cable comes off the pulley.

Approximate repair time 1 - 2 hours.
